What Could My Skin Biopsy Tell Me

Pare biopsy to verify psoriasis ??

Tin can a doctor do a skin biopsy on inverse psoriasis (or what is suspected of being psoriasis) to confirm that information technology is indeed psoriasis? Or practise they just practice that on regular "Plaque" psoriasis?

If they do a skin biopsy, couldn't that create a flare of P in the area where the skin biopsy is taken from?

As well, I saved a few of my Plaques from about 6 years ago in a plastic container. Couldn't the dermatologist but take those plaque samples and ship them away to exist tested to verify Psoriasis?

I know well-nigh people don't e'er get a pare biopsy to ostend psoriasis, simply there is a function of me that merely wants to verify that information technology is indeed psoriasis. Because My psoriasis was never typical. What I mean is sometimes I take a itchy scarlet rash that doctors gave me corticosteroids for in the past and it went abroad , but came dorsum a couple weeks later. It gets worse, then kinda goes away, then comes back. He gave me anti-fungal and yeast creams, those never worked.

I had another lesion that was always in the aforementioned exact location that would shed skin every 3 or 4 days just like psoriasis, just it was never sent away for biopsy. One derm said he didn't know for sure what information technology was, another thought it was psoriasis, and some other told me information technology was an allergic reaction to soap. Then that lesion went away and hasn't come up back in vii years. thats why I really wanna ostend that its psoriasis for certain.

Thanks for reading my question.
